Remember
when I said I was going to review Grim
Fandango: Remastered this week, in a simultaneous attempt to keep up with
current releases whilst ticking off another entry in my ‘games I should
probably play before I die’ list? Yeah, things have changed…

REVIEW: 'Unturned'
Unturned
is an early-access survival zombie game.
Need
I go on? The phrase ‘early access survival zombie game’ is enough to make any
lover of variety and innovation vomit pixel-art. Even trimmed to ‘survival
zombie game,’ people are going to flip tables.

RETROSPECTIVE: ‘Hotline Miami’
The
general consensus behind when Hotline
Miami 2: Wrong Number is coming out seems to be: “when it’s ready.” This is
great for the developers as it allows them to fine-tune the game add
more guns, but not so good for us reviewers who now have a gaping hole in their
schedules.

REVIEW: ‘Antichamber’
Antichamber
is an independent first-person action-puzzle game. The words ‘first-person action-puzzle
game’ alone cause me to make an involuntary high-pitched noise of excitement. Ever
since the divine perfection that was Portal,
I’ve had an itch for puzzle games that don’t just involve the puzzling of the environment
but the puzzling of the players own perspective.

RETROSPECTIVE: 'Floor 13 (and upcoming remake)'
Thought
Papers Please was the first game
where you play a small yet important part of a totalitarian regime, and the
gameplay revolves entirely around paperwork? Prepare yourself for a history
lesson.
